Swala with captain Fernando

Blue sailing is great agency for the sailing tours. Really helpful and responsful also they gave the information about everything quickly and also tried to find other options when something was not as we wanted at first. Prices were affordable compared to other agencies that offered similar sailings Now to the sailing. Me and my girlfriend did it with Swala and captain Fernando and his assistant Jason. The whole experience was great, unforgetable. Fernando is such a nice guy, talkative, helpful, fun and great captain. He gave us al the information that we needed to feel safe on the catamaran and enjoyed the trip. Above all he is awese chef, prepared some great dishes such as lobster, octopus. We were nevery hungry or thirsty. Jason was also nice guy, fun only it was a shame that we spoke very little spanish and he very little english so we were trying hard to communicate. But Fernando made us feel at home in his catamaran. We felt like a family when we dined together and talked about many things. The San blas island are stuning, never have we seen something like it. Really authentic experience in the carribean. Met also some native Gunas and talked to them. Really welcoming and happy people. Great experience, highly recommend sailing with Swala and Fernando in San Blas!

An unforgettable experience

My girlfriend and I had an incredible trip leaving from Porvenir in Panama and ending in Cartagena aboard the Swala. Fernando and Dani were amazing hosts and helped us have an unforgettable experience. They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, safe, and well fed! We had lobster, octopus, ceviche, and fresh fish caught by the Kuna people, and spent three days among some of the most beautiful islands with a lot of other lovely people. Beds were comfortable and dry, and a lot of love clearly went into the boat and making sure we had a good time 🙂 Both Fernando and Dani were always smiling and were patient with us. They had great stories to tell and made sure we weren’t worried when we encountered some rough waves on the way to Cartagena. Fernando explained everything part of the trip before it happened, which was appreciated and we feel like we’ve made friends. I hope to see them again. Couldn’t recommend more!!!

A trip of a lifetime.

We recently did the Cartagena-Panamá crossing on Swala , crewed by Louis, Paula and Mario and had the trip of a lifetime. The catamaran is quite basic, but the experience is out of this world. The San Blas islands are paradise. We had whole islets to ourselves, swimming in clear, turquoise sea and resting on white sand beaches. Truly magical.
