Daniel is a 36-year-old Colombian captain who has been sailing since he was 8 years old. At 13 he started teaching other children at the Naval Officers Club in Castillogrande, Cartagena.
Although professionally trained as an economist, he followed his love for the sea to spend his life sailing, from the shores of Chesapeake in the US to the Panama/Colombia route.
