Captain Goeran started his life on the sea at the age of 16 working on a fishing trawler in Sweden and has since navigated extensively throughout the Pacific, Atlantic, and Arctic oceans as well as the Caribbean seas. Since graduating from the Merchant Marine Academy in 1979 and earning his Dive Master Certification, he has worked as both captain and chief officer on commercial boats and Mega-yachts around the world, including 11 years on expedition charters in Indonesia, the South Pacific, Antarctica and the Arctic to his impressive history. Goeran runs his boat Quest with the care and attention to detail that he’s accumulated over a lifetime of experience.
